May Day Cake Bake is an annual SOOTS event where Raleigh Charter students and other community members can eat cake, socialize, and listen to music before attending Art Farm. Tickets are $10 and can buy a hungry individual two sumptuous slices of any cake they fancy. A large variety of cakes are sold including fruity cakes, chocolate cakes, and vegan/gluten free cakes. The cakes are always homemade, baked by our very own Raleigh Charter SOOTS members. All proceeds go to the SOOTS organization and will be donated to Music Maker Relief Foundation or used to keep SOOTS events alive. This event allows community members to enjoy thoughtfully homemade cakes and unlimited milk while helping elderly blues musicians!
